Show Rules
- Arrive early.
- Wear a uniform.
- Sign in when arriving and out when leaving.
- Remember to smile.
- Know your favorite flavor. (ie. Cheddar Cheese, Caramel Sea Salt, Mint Chocolate Chip, etc.)
- Know what we are raising money for. (ie. Raingutter Regatta, Science Experiments, Pinewood Derby, Camping, etc.)
- ASK for the sale.
- ALWAYS say Thank You.
Signups & Timespaces
- All signups will be done through Signup Genius.
- Timeslots are limit to 5 Scouts at a time (with the occasional exception).
- Timeslots are limited to 3 adults at a time (with the occasional exception).
- Priority at timeslots is given to those who signup in advance.
- Scouts and adults are welcome to volunteer if there is space available.
- You may volunteer for as many timeslots as you want.
What to Bring
- Water.
- Snacks, meal, or lunch money.
- Sun protection.
- Positive attitude.
At the Shows
- Scouts will have a 5-minute break every hour.
- Scouts working more than 4-hours will have a 3-minute lunch break.
- The show happens even if it’s raining. We’ll have a canopy by each door. If there is thunder/lightning we’ll go inside.
- If you are in the first group of the day, please help setup.
- If you are in the last group of the day, please help cleanup.
Sales Credit
- On average, Scouts sell about $50 – $100 per hour at a show.
- Scouts receive sales credit based on the number of hours they worked vs the total sales that day. Sales Credit = Total Sales / Volunteer hours by Scout
- Volunteer hours are rounded to the nearest 15 minutes.
- We always round in favor of the Scouts.
- Total Sales and Hour Worked will be provided to all volunteers within 24 hours of each show.
